This AHRC Fellowship supports a book project entitled ‘Science of the Child in Late Imperial and Early Soviet Russia, 1881-1936’. This research will result in the first comprehensive history of the rise and fall of Russian ‘child study’ between the 1880s and the 1930s, placing it in the wider context of the history of the human sciences and professions internationally.
