At the Frontiers of Uncertainty: The Wild Frontiers of Modern Science

This event is organized by AHRC Science in Culture Theme Research Network ‘The Scientific Works of Robert Grosseteste: Lost Legacies and the Living Past’ and ‘The Ordered Universe’ as part of Being Human: A Festival of the Humanities.

Popular Science writer Michael Brooks will deliver his public lecture, emphasising the creative and unpredictable nature of scientific discovery, in the more recent as well as the more distant past. ‘At the Edge of Uncertainty: the Wild Frontiers of Modern Science’. This event is organized in partnership with the Centre for Catholic Studies at Durham University.
